*Much of the initial course structure for BIOS 310 was developed by Dereth Phillips and Bonnie Bartel as part of Reading to Research, a project designed to lead students from the scientific literature to participation in laboratory research. The reading to research project was established through funding from an HHMI Professor grant awarded to Bonnie Bartel.
